A podcast about nutrition and wellbeing
‘Food Matrix’ with Dr Pervushkin and Irina Shadrina is a podcast about why a person’s health may be more complex than calorie counting, taking vitamins and following popular online advice.
The episodes are intended to discuss why a good diet does not always coincide with feeling well, whether health concerns can be addressed through food alone, and which factors beyond diet may be considered when digestive symptoms are present. The presenters mention the state of the nervous system, the diaphragm and chronic bodily tension among such factors.

Dr Eduard Pervushkin is presented as the first certified osteopathic physician in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. According to the announcement, he trained in the United States, Germany, France and Switzerland; teaches at the Kuban Institute of Osteopathy; and is the author of books and scientific articles.
Dr Irina Shadrina is a general physician, endocrinologist and nutrition specialist, and a specialist in preventive medicine and Ayurveda. She is also the author and teacher of her own courses.
The podcast brings together two complementary perspectives on health. Its authors plan to explore what, in their view, helps people maintain health and what they describe as part of the modern ‘food matrix’.
